j0hnbane is creating videos that they feel is important to them. In 2015, at the end of November, they were done, burned out, and tired of being in a band. They had been writing and performing music all of their life. They were just exhausted. The fulfillment of creating something for the enjoyment of others was gone. They had to do something. They turned to the other thing they had done all their life. Video games. They thought, “What can I do with this that could help other people, or at least make them smile.” So they started the channel. They dabbled around December figuring things out and finding out that they really enjoyed making videos. They got this excited feeling every time they finished one up and couldn’t wait to share it with the world! And they still get that to this day. They also want to somehow show everyone that that happiness is found by choosing to be and to actively influence situations with that in mind. They’ve been in several dark places in their life, and the only way they’ve gotten out is when they’ve chosen to. So, whatever tier you support them with here, they want you to know that your subscription will be another step towards creating better content and one day allow them to help make people’s lives better by being able to focus on this full-time. They also want to be able to help people outside of using their channel by getting involved with charities that they feel they connect with. This takes a lot of time and they already work around 45-50 hours a week at a full-time job (drive about an hour one way, too.. no, not uphill in the snow). Being able to get there would be unbelievable and really allow them to make an impact on other people’s lives.
