James A. Hunter is the author of the Yancy Lazarus Series (Urban Fantasy), Legend of the Treesinger (Urban Fantasy), MudMan (Urban Fantasy), Rogue Dungeon (litRPG), War God’s Mantle (High Fantasy/LitRPG), and the bestselling LitRPG Epic Viridian Gate Online. He has 18 books out, and also runs a small non-traditional publishing company called Shadow Alley Press with his wife. A little bit more about him personally, he’s a former Marine Corps Sergeant, combat veteran, pirate hunter (seriously), and a member of The Royal Order of the Shellback cause that’s definitely a real thing. He’s also been a missionary and international aid worker in Bangkok, Thailand. He has a wonderful wife, two adorable kids (aged four and two), and an incredibly ugly (but sweet) Pug named Macaroni. Typically, he’s a full time writer, making up absurd stories that he hopes people will continue to buy. When he’s not working, writing, or spending time with family, he occasionally finds time to eat and sleep.
