It’s the creation of one person who became fascinated by the Japanese culture ever since they were a kid. They grew up reading manga and watching J-drama. They spent their childhood looking at a Japanese textbook their sister bought them (without understanding a word), wishing one day they’d be able to speak Japanese. Visiting Japan, especially Kyoto had always been their dream. That dream finally came true when they went to Japan to study Japanese after graduating from college. The one year they spent there was the most wonderful time of their life. While enjoying their time in Japan, they realized how costly learning Japanese could be. To study at a Japanese Language School in Tokyo they need to pay about 500 a month, not to mention textbook fees. Japanese language institutions in their home countries can be costly too, and online learning courses are not very cheap either. So after returning home from Japan, they decided to create a website which provides Japanese learners with free learning resources.
