Jazlyne Sabree is a teaching artist who is working overtime in the studio to make their own art creation their priority. They have earned their Bachelors in Fine Art at Clark Atlanta University and a Masters Degree in Art Education from Boston University. They are now ready to move full speed ahead into their passion for artistic creation. They like to examine stereotypes and create artwork that addresses these stereotypes and re-humanizes the images of black people. Black life has been littered with and rumored by negative stereotypes, thus dehumanizing them in the eyes of society. They aim for their work to enlighten the world to a truer image of people of color as we all bask in our connectedness, similarity, and equality. Their hope is that this will heal humanity.
