Jennifer Ryan

Jennifer Ryan is a teacher who has spent the last 25 years telling stories. They learned storytelling from a man named Odds Bodkin when they were in high school and they have loved it ever since. However, the longer they told stories, the more they wanted to write some of the stories they created and their thoughts about the world, and education, and their life. To that end they started a blog called timetostopandthink.com, then started another, which is now defunct, called Momentum City about a class they taught for two years. Around the same time they started sharing stories of the lessons they learned from their students called 180 Days of Teaching and finally they started to write about their growth and experiences they’ve tried in one called Duct Tape and Dreams. After writing all over the place, they decided in 2020 to start a website dedicated to their stories and their musings so they created jennifer-ryan.org which has space for the stories they’ve written over the years and has links to each of the three functioning blogs.
