Jesse Powers is creating a little community (but growing so big!) to share with their fans (you!) a place where they get to connect with their fans more deeply and hear their requests. Jesse is an embodied musician and model, and shares with you their past, present and future. Jesse posts early access to all of their public content (music videos, songs, etc.) and tons more content (demos and downloads of unreleased songs, etc.) Jesse often asks themselves, “What does my music do for people?” So far, the simplest and most encompassing answer they’ve received is that it makes people feel things. It makes them introspective, it makes them look inside themselves, and it pulls from the depths their forgotten pain, joy, and spirit that’s been aching to be felt and fully expressed. They’ve realized that this can only be possible because they create these songs from their body. The words come from their feelings, their sensations, their aches, their pleasures, an EMBODIMENT of the moment. The feelings create the words first, and then the words, when heard by others, are a direct line to the feeling. Music written from the body has the potential to pull you straight through your thoughts and into your ever-sacred body, reuniting you with the overwhelming love and meaning of this very moment–here and now.
