Johan Visschedijk, ultra runner and profesional photographer

Johan Visschedijk, ultra runner and professional photographer, is making a book, From Dacha with love. They’re in the middle of it. The book will show you what people from Moscow do at their Dachas, houses from small to big where they intend to relax. They’ll interview several people from Moscow at their Dacha houses, from a car-mechanic to a first violin player of the Moscow Music Hall. You also will find several recipes in the book so you can cook as a Russian, too, at home. Interesting as Johan says it themselves. Johan’s wife Lina, is from Moscow, and Johan is from the Netherlands. Making this book is a dream that they’ve already had for a long time. Another dream of Johan is to run from the Netherlands to Moscow and finish on the Red Square, in central Moscow city. To accomplish these two goals, they’ll need to do two things. Get a sponsor for their book and train hard so they can finish to Moscow in about six weeks. They’re talking about a 2700 kilometer course that also gains 16.500 altitude meters. Starting in the Netherlands and then over Berlin to Warsaw, then off to Minsk, ending up in Moscow. So running through Germany, Poland, Belarus, and Russia alone. They would love to take you on these two journeys that they’re going to make. You’ll be behind the scenes of the shootings for their Dacha book, you can take them along with their training for this long and difficult run, and of course you’ll be able to follow them on the flow when they’ll be running to Moscow in 2021. How cool is that they say?
