Johannes Voss is an artist on Magic: The Gathering. You might have seen some of his work: He also plays the game with a passion and so in 2015 he started designing his own line of tokens: his own style, with a bit more humor and detail than I usually see, to share with you. The way Patreon works is simple: You choose a monthly pledge, and Johannes sends you care packages stuffed full of tokens. This allows him to take time off from commercial work, create more of these, and do things to make the community happy. You can stay as long as you like and for each month you pledge you will receive a package, containing fresh and different tokens every time. Every second one of the tokens here is Patreon exclusive – recognizable by the gold symbol behind the name. For production, he’s working with a German company that he has flawless experiences with. The tokens are 300g/m coated playing card stock, it’s offset print of incredible sharpness that digital print won’t reach, and of course they’re the exact same measurements – 63x88mm – as Magic cards and will fit in all the same sleeves.
