John Roderick is ready to stay off social media and focus their attention on more satisfying creative work. They’re best in long-form conversation, at essay length, rather than 140 characters. They’re still writing music, most of which remains unpublished, some of which they’re ready to share. And then there’s the book, or books, lyrics, short essays on love and war. They’re always writing, and they hope to start publishing. It may take them a few months to figure it all out. They’re definitely going to do one-off podcasts where they talk to interesting people about their weird interests and pleasures. They know a lot of nutty people. This will be really fun.
