Jordie Creates is a visual artist, a writer, and a soul that survives through creating. They work with different mediums to produce a variety of different pieces. They specialize in writing, abstract art, poetry, watercolor paintings, lettering, digital graphic design, and more. They’ve been fascinated by art for as long as they can remember. For them, it’s been a vehicle to process their emotions and feelings as they grow through the different challenges in life. In 2016, their father was diagnosed with young onset dementia, and as his disease progresses immensely, it’s become more imperative that they spend all the time they can with him, and helping to care for them as their needs intensify. Finding a job that understands the unique set of challenges a caregiver faces has been really hard. As an artist, their dream has been to make a living through their passion of creating. They goal in launching this Patreon page is to take their art on more full-time, while also being granted the ability to be present with their dad during this time.
