Kashmir Astronomy is Salman Hameed, a professor at Hampshire College and the Five College Astronomy Department in Massachusetts. They grew up in Pakistan. They have been creating and hosting astronomy videos in Urdu over the past few years. The videos are aimed at a broad audience to celebrate curiosity and share a sense of wonder about the universe in Urdu. These videos are all available ad-free and free-of-cost on the YouTube channel. They have created over 80 videos with the help of a few volunteers (all working for free) with whatever limited time they can find. You have all responded with a tremendous amount of encouragement. In return, they would love to add more visuals to the videos and improve the overall quality. In addition, there are a lot of requests for an Urdu series on Introductory Astronomy and for topics like Search for Life in the Universe, Mysteries of Dark Matter and Dark Energy, and the Origins of Galaxies and Our Universe.
