Katrina Blackstone is The Singing Oracle. They are a vocalist, songwriter, intuitive, and sound healer living in Los Angeles and their mission is to bring love and joy to the world through music, beauty, and laughter. Over the past 10 years they have gotten the chance to work with wonderful producers and have toured in some awesome cities around the globe with these different projects. They also have had a song licensed for “Club de Cuervos” on Netflix and their album with Dj Vadim released on BBE Music in London. Over the past 2 years they have been on a healing journey by meditating, studying sound healing, and letting go of things in their life that weren’t helping them be the best version of themselves. Now that they are experiencing such a huge change internally, their goals have also begun to change from performing live but they still want to use their voice to help to uplift and heal the planet. First they had the idea for an online singing telegram business called Jam Grams “Personalized messages written by you and sang by me in the genre that your loved one loves”. Although they still love this offering (and spoiler alert: they will be offered for patrons), they were feeling the call to offer healing through the gift of their intuition and voice. Part of sharpening their intuition and helping them to connect to spirit over the past 5 years was through the use of oracle cards. They began pulling them daily as part of their morning practice and had the inspiration for their series Katrina Sings the Day a little over a year ago. However, it wasn’t until quarantine that they followed through with the prompts from the universe and began sharing this part of them with the world and posting them on YouTube. Katrina Sings the Day are collective readings based on the energy of the day where they pull cards and then sing a freestyle/channeled song over an awesome beat during the reading so basically a heart-centered, affirmative, freestyle, singing reading. For them, there is nothing quite like the feeling of being on stage and sharing their gift with a live audience but for now they are so grateful for the opportunity to have an even further reach online. They are SO charged up with some great new inspiration stirring within and ready once again to begin working on new music, videos, and more awesome content. Whether online or via a live concert, they’re looking forward to bringing forth new music and singing to the world once again! They intend and goals are to write, record, and perform uplifting, soul-filled songs full time. To make epic music videos to go along with their new songs. To be able to expand on the awesome ideas for new content for their YouTube channel that they envision…they’re also a closet dancer so get ready for a dance video to pop up every now and then. lol They want to get to connect with their fans more deeply and create a like minded community around the world. To share affirmations and encouragement that have helped them along on their healing path. We are in such an expansive time on the planet right now and they believe that ultimately music is the medicine that has the power to bring us all together…cue the music.
