Kelly Lynn Lunde is an artist and educator. They create through many different mediums and this is a place where they’re fielding support to self-publish their first book of poetry. This collection is ultimately a story, initiated by heartbreak and culminating in them finding a faithful partner in themselves and the courage to call themselves a writer and poet. It’s a chronicle of what happens when we stick with ourselves in grief and commit to fully feeling everything in the wake of rejection. Heartbreak can act as a true portal to our unrealized selves, if we go digging in the shadows on purpose. They’re excited to curate a space here on Patreon to help fund the final stage of this project AND to encourage other creative folks in cultivating their art and poking around their own emotional landscapes (where there is booty and bounty!). It has taken them many years to get comfortable and confident making and sharing their own work. They want to pass on the practices that have helped them and create a community in the process. Now more than ever, the collective needs what they have to offer.
