Kimbra is an award-winning pop music artist from New Zealand. She first shot into mainstream consciousness when she made a cameo on Gotye ’s smash hit “Somebody That I Used to Know.” She’s released three studio albums since 2011 in addition to remix albums and scores of singles as the lead or featured artist. She’s written for John Legend and Nick Lamar among others. She wrote and recorded “Leave No Girl Behind” to help fundraise for the So They Can organization which empowers children living in poverty through education in East Africa.
