Kitsune Chon is from Russia. They draw has been their favorite activity since their earliest childhood. They dreamt about working as an illustrator, but they are an architect by profession. They realized that they would like to do this not as a hobby, but as their permanent occupation. In 2017, to free up more time for creativity, they started a job as a teacher in a studio of art. In this studio, they also opened their own comics course. Although it was interesting, it took a lot of energy and time. Now they can finally devote themselves to their favorite activity: They create their own comics and illustrate fantasy books. In their works, they try to keep a balance between drama and comedy. It’s important for them to show social problems in Russian society, as well as to show the bright sides, such as friendship, support, love, parental love, because they think it will be interesting for anyone who has not been to Russia to learn more about this country through their characters.
