Kristin Henry is an artist, computer scientist, and modern polymath. Their projects include developing browser web extensions to help them study ad tech, coding tools to help them study the noise pollution they experience day to day, and drawing simple generative artworks with ink. They paint with code, starting with a simple set of rules and then adding just the right amount of ‘noise’ to create their Generative Art and Data Visualizations. Recently, they’ve been drawing daily generative art sketches with ink. They’re especially inspired by Chemistry, Physics, and Nature. They’ve also been studying advertising on a video-streaming platform. They’d like to expand their study, but that takes serious funding and public effort.
