Lady Izdihar is making easy to digest, bite sized informative posts on their Instagram page @LadyIzdihar on Eastern European history, ethnography and culture, as well as Map Mondays and Flag Fridays, highlighting their love for maps and flags and the educational properties they provide us with. They are currently working on writing a book that highlights all of the different ethnic groups in the Russian Federation, to provide a resource to the western, English speaking world on this topic and are working on the beginnings of what will be a YouTube channel to cover all of these things in more detail as well. So far they have done all of this for free and on their own free time. Their goal is to educate the western world, in the English language, about this region. They think they can be a good bridge. The little information that’s out there in English is often for a purpose other then education. They hope to combat that, and get people as excited as they are about Eastern Europe and Russia! The people, the culture, the REALITY.
