Lanipator is Nick “Lanipator” Landis, but feel free to call him Lani. He’s an actor, writer, singer, comedian, and a bunch of other reasons you to drop out of college and stress out your parents. If you’ve heard of him it’s likely because you recognize him as one of the founders of Team Four Star. He’s been producing content online since back in 2007 after a Rugby injury left him immobile for a time. With nothing more to do than wile away his time on the computer, he felt like he was at the end of his rope. Then he discovered Martin “Little Kuriboh” Billany’s Yugi-Oh The Abridged Series. As cliche as it may sound this changed his life. He had been so bogged down with how much his situation sucked. Then this British dude came along and with nothing but editing software, a microphone, and some old anime footage he made so many people laugh, including him. For the first time since his injury, he had hope. He thought to himself: “I have the same resources he has, maybe I can do it too.” So he sat down, ripped some footage from his Yu Yu Hakusho DVDs, opened his video editing software, and made his first Youtube Video. This first step led him down a brighter path than he had ever imagined for himself. He has made so many amazing friends, traveled to so many incredible places, and married the love of his life. He didn’t know this at the time making that video would be his first step practicing what he would come to call “BUBL”. The concept of BUBL has gotten him through many hardships in his adult life and always kept him striving to improve in the areas he has needed to in order to be the person he wants to be.
