Christopher Cunningham, after 20 years of collecting information and field sketches, is publishing a book called A State of Change: Forgotten Landscapes of California (Heyday, 2010). He wrote and illustrated a children’s book on paleontology called The Bay Area Through Time (Heyday, 2013). He’s working on Ice Age California–Herds of mammoths, giant ground sloths, horses, bison with teratorns flying overhead. All in the Golden State prior to 10,000 years ago. He wants to illustrate and write this book.
