Lauren Mayer is a progressive singer-songwriter, a feminist musical satirist, and an opinionated Jewish mother. Who they are. What they do. It takes a lot of time to write a new song every week, record a video, and edit it, not to mention putting in the dirty work of following the news (so you don’t have to!), choosing a topic, and finding something funny about it. The relief of watching all the content they’re putting out, without feeling guilty anymore. Oh, and they live in an expensive part of the country, they work as a musician & music teacher, their husband is a substance abuse counselor (they joke that they married each other for the money), and their elderly mom lives with them too.
