LetstalkJapanese

Paris is a Japanese-American, born in the United States. Their mother was born and raised in Japan, Tokyo. From a very young age, their mother has been teaching them Japanese and they were expected to speak to them in Japanese at all times growing up. Every Saturday, they attended Japanese School for 7 hours and during the week, they studied Japanese after school using textbooks provided by their mom. They have traveled to Tokyo each year since they were a baby to visit family. From first to third grade, they lived with their grandmother every summer and attended summer school there; and during their fourth and fifth grade years, they lived in Japan full-time and attended the same elementary school. They began to forget some of their English the longer they spent in Japan, and their mother decided to move them back to the States. Although they have remained in the U.S., they visit their family in Japan as often as they can. Their Japanese heritage is one that they are incredibly proud of, and they wanted to create this brand to help other master the language that means so much to them. LetsTalkJapanese is a resource for anyone with a desire to learn Japanese, regardless of level. They look forward to helping you!
