Lev Mirov & Aleksei Valentin are a queer, disabled brown couple you’ve probably seen on twitter yelling about something. You’ve probably seen Aleksei’s #tarottonight, a regular public tarot reading applying lessons from the Tarot to a broader scale. Aleksei is the creator of diverse speculative novels, short stories, and award-nominated poetry with happy endings for marginalized people. Since being disabled makes freelance work difficult, Aleksei has turned to readers asking when they’ll get to see the stories and worlds they’re creating. They’re writing MFA candidates at Goddard College’s Integrated Arts programs, where Aleksei works on expanding all aspects of their art and Lev works on composition, choreography, and disability inclusion.
