Lily and Mikaila Orchard are a pair of critics and comedians on Youtube. They try to upload at least once or twice a week, based on the projects currently on their roster. A comedy/reaction series built off the MST3K style. While carrying a small amount of critical theory behind episodes that are covered, it is primarily a comedy vector to crack jokes over a supercut TV Show. It’s intentions are incredibly simple, and serve the purpose of your average reaction video with most of the fat trimmed off. Currently covering Craig of the Creek and Hilda. An analytical series that explores the deeper themes of a given show, deconstructs and critiques tropes and the broad big picture of storytelling. Mikaila’s analytical show where she takes a deep dive into the micro, often covers the breadth of a specific series or even putting an entire character under the microscope. Similar to Glass of Water in style but not in scope. Mikaila pulls apart a series episode by episode. Currently covering The Owl House. The two of them are also creatives. Amateur creatives, but still creatives. They like to make the silly content that makes you smile in every possible way! Their major projects include A rewrite of the Sequel Trilogy made out of spite over The Rise of Skywalker that tears the Legacy-obsessed canon down to focus on more important things. Like adorable sapphic space wives. A Pokemon webcomic about the found family between a girl, her wife, her cloned cryptid child, and the Banshee she is a little too friendly and codependent with for comfort. Largely humor focused with occasional divergences into deconstructing trauma and codependency and occasionally the author uses it as a vector to unpack her own demiromantic self hatred! Fun, right?
