Lisa Gade is the founder of MobileTechReview, both the website and the YouTube channel, and they’re a fiercely independent and honest source of reviews on all manner of tech you can take with you- mobile phones, laptops, gaming laptops, digital cameras, tablets and even the occasional all-in-one desktop and specialty monitor like pen displays for art. The big challenge is making enough money to allow them to continue doing what they love. Though their subscriber and view numbers on YouTube have doubled over the past few years, their revenue had dropped by half. Why? Ad blockers (they make money from the ads that are displayed at the beginning and end of each video) and lower ad prices.
