Liv McKee is a queer performing artist living in Troy, New York. Specializing in both dance and poetry, Liv has been commissioned to choreograph, create, and teach in many settings. Liv was a 2018 National Poetry Slam Team Piece Finalist, and has represented Albany at the Individual World Poetry Slam, the Women of the World Poetry Slam, the Southern Fried Poetry Slam, and multiple regional northeastern slams. They were a semifinalist in this years Button Poetry Chapbook Contest, and a finalist in both the 2017 and 2018 DiBiase Poetry Contests. Their work is published or forthcoming in Winter Tangerine, A Whores Manifesto, Write About Now!, and their two self-released chapbooks honey at the corners of their mouths and BULB. In their free time they may be talking to the moon and/or contemplating whorephobia, virginity, and anti-zionist white Jewishness. They hope their poetry leaves you cut, bandaged, bathed, and heartened.
