Lou Barrett is a queer bisexual femme living in Chicago, Illinois. They launched their own publishing company August 2018 called Purpled Palm Press. Purpled Palm Press is a publishing company focused on eliminating the single story of queerness. Their interest is improving queer lives and finding solutions for their problems. They do that by publishing books about queer relationships, navigating art careers, self acceptance, and more. They are also a writer, and have been building a portfolio over the last few years.
