Maddie Godfrey

Maddie Godfrey is a writer, poet and educator from Western Australia. On Patreon, they are sharing cute poems and other exciting little snippets of their daily life as a writer and vulnerable human being. At 23, they have performed at big places such as The Sydney Opera House, The Royal Albert Hall, The Bowery Poetry Club and Glastonbury Festival. Their writing has been internationally published in literary journals, anthologies, magazines, on a poster and was used as a close-reading text in the 2016 Western Australian Curriculum Exam. Their first book “How To Be Held”, was released by Burning Eye Books (UK) in July 2018. They also work as an Editor for Voiceworks Magazine and are completing their PhD in poetry.
