Make Fashion Clean (MFC) is a non-profit organization working to change how clothing is consumed and disposed globally. Since 2017, MFC has collaborated with artisans at the MFI Foundation Studio in Greater Accra, Ghana, to create upcycled fashion from repurposed fabrics. The MFI Foundation was founded by Matilda Lartey, a community change-maker and the mother of a daughter with a disability, to create living wage jobs for people affected by disability through producing upcycled fashion. As of 2020, the MFI Foundation Studio employs 2 artisans, 4 beadmakers, and 4 apprentices. Like the story of Arewa and the Blue Circle Bag design?
