Margaret Trauth is putting comics on the internet for free. Right now, they’re making Parallax, a sci-fi comic about a conflict nobody wanted to happen, and they’re also working intermittently on The Drowning City, an urban fantasy about a girl slowly turning into a monster while elves invade New Orleans. They’re also posting occasional standalone art to Patreon. They’re a fortysomething transwoman who is mostly coddled by an ex-with-benefits living in Seattle. They need to keep on making their personal, independently-minded stories.
