Matthew Verive runs PidgiNet, home of PidgiWiki, one of the largest video game media sites on the Internet. The concept behind PidgiWiki started in 2008 as Pokmon Resolution, a crude directory-listing style website that hosted several dozen pieces of official artwork from various Pokmon games. After other Pokmon fans wanted to contribute, Verive set up a wiki in early 2010 that was dubbed “PidgiWiki.” Since then, PidgiWiki has expanded outside the Pokmon franchise to encompass all of video games, totaling over 23,000 pieces of official video game media, including artwork, logos, box images, and more.
