Meg Caldwell, Poet Scientist is a poet scientist. This might sound like a made-up term, and partially it is. They made it up. However, this is not such a new idea, since the beginning of poetry there have been writers who have combined art and science. Like poet Keith S Wilson said, Poetry does what science does and what ceremonies and baptisms do: it tells us to stop and consider a bigness- a bigness that might make us feel small or might remind us we can never be.
