Megan Haering Illustration is Megan, an artist and illustrator living in Newcastle, NSW Australia. They were so tired of this world they created their own. Since the ripe ol age of really really young, they had a passion for drawing and spent most of their schooling life trying to mimic the Manga artists they idolized. In recent years, they’ve trained and established their own style, and expanded on their sources of inspiration. Mostly works digitally (it’s a natural thing for their generation to love their gadgets right?) but has a love of exploring and challenging themselves with any medium they can get their hands on. The themes of their work are inspired by all things fantasy, pop culture and fashion. As a regular gamer, ex-book store worker and current art store employee and a background in Graphic Design, the sky is the limit with the subjects they love to explore. As a self taught artist, they are eager and passionate about the idea of learning through trial and error, and exploring, and as someone who learned a lot from watching others, it is their hope to share some of their knowledge and experiences with others. Above all else though, they want to create a community that can learn and grow together, both artistically and as people, and share and work on projects with other aspiring artists.
