Michelle Lyons is a trans woman slowly clawing their way towards actually being themselves instead of sitting in a box labelled “A MAN” and feeling like death. It’s been a genuine liberation and a relief, even though they still have a long way to go. But like a lot of people, they’re living in a hateful and failing country that has been slowly tearing itself apart for the past few years. They thought they had better do something productive with their time and make art instead of sitting around angrily doomscrolling. For a long time, they were Chriddof… and now they’ve sorted out a lot of things. They’re still only halfway out of their shell, but today’s the day.
