Nordic Weasel Games is Ivan Sorensen. They try to produce miniatures and role playing games that are clever, fun to play and include support for campaign play. They produce games that are solo friendly and in many cases solo oriented. Unfortunately supporting an entire catalogue of game titles is time consuming and providing updates to games don’t often generate new sales. The result is that they have to pick between updating old games or writing new things. As such a different approach was needed and Patreon may be the answer. Through this Patreon, generous fans have helped fund system updates and new game content. The goal is to offer the following: *Every month several pieces of new content are provided for NWG titles. These are currently focused on Five Parsecs and Five Leagues and are available for all Patrons at the 5+ dollar level. In some cases these may be packs that are also sold commercially, in other cases they are provided for download and are exclusive to Patreon for the time being. Examples include new characters, scenarios, new rules for the games and more. *The Patreon also allows the funding of rules updates to other games, such as Squad Hammer or Renegade Scout. There is usually at least one update every month to an older title in the NWG library. *Discount codes, freebies of old PDFs, beta tests and other assorted goodies will be given out here and there. Typically one or two such items are given each month. The support levels above 5 dollars exist for people who want to support NWG and help the creation of new gaming material. They are not correlated to increased rewards.
