Oceans & Rivers Acupuncture & Wellness has had a devastating emotional and economic impact on our communities that will last for a very long time. It has shined a bright spotlight on many longstanding inequities, and has invited many of us to witness the privileges and comforts we have taken for granted. Communities of color are the hardest hit by not only COVID 19 and the economy, but also by the political unrest in response to the light shed on racism, police brutality, and white supremacy. In an effort to make healing more accessible, available, and affordable, your Patreon contribution will support: Soul Medicine Circles A free weekly virtual community circle to reflect on challenges and stressors, set goals and intentions, and practice mind-body medicine to get us through the week ahead. I share “morning quickie” wellness practices to help my community stay grounded, focused, calm and clear. Free Webinars & Flower Essence Distribution Every month I offer a free webinar based on the current events, to teach about different forms of soul medicine and self-care tools that can be used in the home. I cover topics such as managing anxiety, healing relationships, dealing with stress, and so much more. After webinars, I distribute free herbal supplements to those in need. Community Wellness Clinic In collaboration with the incredible practitioners who have completed my 18-month certification training in flower essence therapy, we offer free and low-cost counseling services to those experiencing trauma, heartache, confusion, and sadness. Our goal is to support individuals in healing through heartache and trauma, so that they can fully offer their genius and gifts to their families and communities.
