Open Mouth Literary Center is a nonprofit literary organization focused on bringing national poets in conversation with writers in our local community in Fayetteville, Arkansas. As an organization run mostly by volunteers (with two part-time staff members) all of the money from their Patreon goes directly toward paying for programming and accessibility. Your support enables them to provide at least 12 readings, 12 generative workshops, 1 festival, and 1 writing retreat bringing around 50 fresh voices to Northwest Arkansas per year, and contributes to accessibility in the literary landscape by providing ASL interpretation at their events, paying their staff to gather access materials, and building toward community supported access.
