Painethepoet is a formerly incarcerated speaker and spoken word artist. During an 8 year incarceration, the flaws in our criminal system became far too blatant to overlook. Using the gift and the power of the creative word, the fight to bring peace to a flawed system never seemed more possible. Paine currently speaks at various events, schools, and works hand in hand with many who have the same cause.
