Paul Rose (Mr Biffo) is a YouTube creator who has a day job writing TV shows for children, but the rest of the time he’s making videos for you. The bedrock of what they offer is the Digi Minis, which usually take a bit of a headlong dive into some aspect of geek culture – old toys, gadgets, games, snacks, movies, TV shows – and treat it with utter disrespect. Silly characters, weird cutaways, lots of tangents. If you love it, you love it. Usually when he’s in front of the camera he’ll have a guest with him. Often he’s joined by his wife, Sanja, or Cheapshow’s Paul Gannon. He’s also the host of the Between You And Me podcast, which gives him a chance to talk at length about his great love of the band Marillion. Given that he does it with Sanja, who is a relative Marillion novice, he thinks it’s the sort of show you can listen to even if you’re not a fan. And if you like his other stuff, he thinks there’s plenty to like here too.
