Pearl Pirie is making poetry chapbooks since childhood and publishing poems since 1995. Since 2001 they have written poetry full time. They have had published 4 full poetry collections, 26 single-author chapbooks, a few collaborative ones, and a few broadsides. They have made a poetry and poetics blog for 16 years, doing book and event summaries. They have rarely applied for funding but occasionally teach poetry courses. For 11 years They have run a small press putting out over 4 dozen titles of 84 poets. They have an instagram poets where they combine photography and their previously published poems.
