PiXimperfect is Unmesh Dinda, creator of PiXimperfect. They have created more than 365 high-quality videos absolutely free to watch right now at youtube.com/piximperfect These free videos are made possible by the support of their amazing Patrons. Unmesh’s first rendezvous with Photoshop was when they were eight, and their dad brought home their family’s first computer. They were getting into DTP (Desktop Publishing), so they got a copy of Photoshop 6.0. When Unmesh first saw it, their eyes sparkled with curiosity, wanting to click every button and move all the sliders just to see what they would do. While the other kids their age were playing games like Super Mario or Contra (90s kids would understand this), to them, Photoshop was a game in itself. It all started with putting their face on Snoop Doggs body, making their cousins heads big, swapping the faces of their friends, and turning their relatives green like Shrek. They got into Photography with their first camera as a college student, and as everyone does, created a photography page on Facebook and called it Picture Imperfect (now PiXimperfect). In their journey from then to now, they have won several photographic competitions, such as Nikons #IAMShutterbug, and also received the All India Gold Medal in Digital Painting by Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation. In November 2016, they started creating free Photoshop tutorials on YouTube and since then, there has been no looking back. As of July 2018, their YouTube Channel has more than 365 videos on Photoshop and Lightroom, many of which have been featured on popular photo sites like Fstoppers, SLR Lounge, PetaPixel, Shutterbug, Adobe’s social pages, among several others, with articles published in Shutter Magazine. They were also an instructor in for ShutterFest 2018 in St. Louis, and again an instructor for Photoshop World 2018 in Orlando.
