Rachel Eve is a recording artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based out of Detroit, MI. Her latest release, Dancing Under Neowise, features “OMNI,” an Italo Disco jam for the revolution and “HUE,” an intimate, soft synth space odyssey of an empowered heart celebrating its worthiness. The songstress’ style of confessional and emotionally rich compositions emerged in Chicago where Eve was immersed in a vibrant neo-folk community on and off stage, coordinating events, running sound, and collaborating with local songwriters. She’s shared stages with Cass McCombs, Ohmme, Gia Margaret, and Shovels and Rope and collaborated on recordings with Cameron McGill, The Go Rounds, and Matthew Santos. Some of her musical influences include Joni Mitchell, St. Vincent, Fiona Apple, Solange, and Tune-Yards.
