Raphael Treza

Raphael Treza is an independent musician and filmmaker. They make movies about tribes and nature. They financed their previous movie by busking during one year in the Parisian metro. The movie is called Cobra Gypsies, which is about a nomadic tribe of dancers and musicians, the Kalbeliya tribe of Rajasthan, it is today one of the most viewed documentary on Youtube. They recently released their 5th movie, Mystery Mind Maps, a quest to find a street artist in Bangkok. They financed this movie thanks to Youtube monetisation and donations. It’s a great improvement for them, but it’s still a big challenge to improve the quality of their work while remaining independent. In July 2018 they released their second album, “Seven,” that they composed and produced during a year, while traveling in Asia. They’re going to use those tracks for the next movies they’re preparing. Great new in 2018, the track “Noizy Birdz”, from their first album Cobra Gypsies Soundtrack, is booming on Spotify, and will soon reach 2 million plays. After 12 years of hard work as a music producer, that is a very precious achievement. They need your support to finance their 6th movie, which is already shot. They do everything by themselves, including filming, editing, color correction, music composition, writing, promotion. But they still need to hire the best people they know for sound mixing, voiceover and translation. They need a better laptop, and good microphone, and enough money to pay for post-production. Supporting them is also supporting isolated communities who struggle to keep their precious way of life. They always do their best to support them materially.
