richtommaso is Rich Tommaso. They’ve created a slew of original comics for Image, Dark Horse Comics, IDW, Top Shelf, and Fantagraphics Books. The one thing they never got the chance to do in their 25-year career was to create an anthology magazine. A slick comics magazine, very much in the spirit of the golden age of comics (when practically EVERY comic book was an anthology). The apex of which were the titles produced by EC COMICS. A periodical filled with comic serials of the sci-fi / crime / horror / war / western variety. Publishers today are fickle when it comes to producing an anthology series–featuring multiple comics and printed in a magazine-sized format. So they’ve decided to do it here, all by themselves…Welcome to their new comics magazine, BLACK PHOENIX.
