Rickii is Erica Caines, a writer/ freelancer and self-published poet who is the founder of #LiberationThroughReading and the outreach member of the Black Alliance For Peace. Most importantly, Ricki is Zion Trevor’s mother. What’s next? While Rickii still intends to publish their 2nd book, a chapbook entitled Quenched Soul, they have committed to parenting a young child and organizing. Their work includes facilitating book clubs and abolition and anti-imperialism teach-ins with their organizations and others and gifting Black children with FREE books that represent them.
