Roman and Ksenia Turenko

Roman and Ksenia Turenko are conservative Lutherans and University-trained professional translators. They live in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, with a daughter and a partially disabled, elderly mother. Lutheranism is almost unknown in Russia. So in October 2020 they started a Russian online ministry aimed at promoting the sound doctrines of Law and Gospel via their translations of various traditional Lutheran writings and classical Christian hymns. Their core permanent project is the Russian version of The Lutheran Herald Daily Devotions which they publish on a dedicated Facebook page and a mirror page on VK, Russia’s most popular social network. These devotions are circulated by other means too. They have two book projects underway. This ministry is their full-time occupation. They have no regular job due to partial disability, while Ksenia has a low-paid part-time job teaching English to kids for a few hours a week. Thus, they depend on donations to be their major source of income. Patronage by their friends is vital for them to provide for their family while keeping up their spiritual vocation. Others in need also benefit as they donate to charities, mostly to the diaconal ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia. They invite you to join them in their mission by becoming a Patron. Please select one of the membership levels suggested above. They pray that the Lord would bless their Patrons spiritually and materially. + Soli Deo Gloria! +
