savenaster is reinventing their traditional method of producing manga and other artwork. While in the past they have published their works for free at DeviantArt and other websites, it has become challenging to continue on with this approach. Although they have quite an inventory of future works in their minds, those do tend to interfere with their day-to-day professional commitments. Therefore, they would like to see if they could ask for monthly patrons to fund and materialize the ideas that they have kept long in the back burner. They expect Patreon to be a great tool for doing this. Their set of works will feature their original diver heroines, Chihaya Natori and Aya Isuzu, who made their debut in DeviantArt. They will appear in their keynote series Five Minute Summer and its spinoffs, Miyako Diaries, Apnea Girl Meets Girl, Apnea Girl Versus Girl, and much more to come. They also definitely would like to continue on with Amamiko, a story of far, far, away, long, long ago…of a family of sacred shrine maidens set to save the world. Depending on the traffic and support they will get from their patrons, they will certainly release additional artwork in many shapes and forms – while their focus will always be on freediving and other underwater related themes. Also, patrons will find from time to time the artwork of Rou Romario, their talented colorist, and Jim Liesman, another UW-themed artist, who have pages of their own. They are great benefactors of them and add colors to their site (sometimes quite literally).
