Serena Malyon is a freelance illustrator working in Canada. Serena has been working professionally as an illustrator for 9 years. in 2017 Serena was able to take the plunge, quit the day job and start illustrating full-time. Serena started a Patreon because they have a huge art book planned and would love to share the process of making the artwork and writing it. Serena really wants to create a space where they can communicate with their fans in a personal way. Serena will be sharing their process from start to finish how they come up with the concept for a piece, what it goes through to become a finished painting, and all of the problem solving along the way. Serena has been enjoying making tutorials and time-lapse videos. Serena’s approach to watercolour has always been unorthodox, and Serena would love to go into their use of Acryla Gouache and Photoshop.
