SideNote is creating video-essays on lesser-talked about topics and unique stories from around the world. Their videos are highly scripted and edited with relevant visuals. Making such videos is difficult because first, they spend a lot of time finding the right topic, then the research and scripting is the most difficult part of the job which they take very seriously – many times they find themselves hunting newspaper archives/magazines to find just one essential detail, and then editing of videos – where they do after effects animation to present stories in an easily understandable way.
