SikhArchive is a Sikh history blog that explores the Sikh Diaspora through oral history interviews and archival Sikh imagery, which has now launched a series of podcasts with established authors, historians and academics on their expert topics related to Sikh history. In addition to that, they work everyday to develop a Google calendar application that can be used to notify their members of Sikh history that happened “on this day” via push notifications. They read Sikh history literature everyday and add significant events to the calendar everyday. And finally, they are working hard to document the lives of Sikhs in Denmark. There is a rich 50 year history which they have been documenting, which includes interviews with the first arrivals from Punjab in the 1960s. This has led to a successful exhibition at the Immigration Museum in Copenhagen and now they are working hard to write down their findings for a book titled, “Sikh of Denmark.”
