Sincerely Yours is a writer of letters. They like to journal, jot down musings, story ideas, but letter writing is a special and different for them. The way their mind wanders and opens up to the person in mind is just different from writing a potential no-face reader. Opening their mailbox has been getting them down lately because it’s all spam and bills. Last Tuesday was another one of those days (this time it included a free car wash coupon?) and it’s what sparked the idea for “Sincerely Yours.” They wanted to make getting mail fun again and to build a community of letter writers in the process. They’ve saved so many from friends and family that they’ve received throughout the years. Letters are these perfect time capsules of emotion that can be revisted upon re-reading. If you don’t know them, how can you write them a letter? This is a practice that has been around for a while. People who reach out to soldiers in battle and people from far corners of the world to get a glimpse of something different from their surroundings. The very nature of writing and reading a letter is a connection in itself. They can be encouragement, random musings, a confession… whatever they write in the letter expect it to be unique and entirely them. They promise to be honest, sincere and hopefully fun!
